Nature's Spiritual Transcendance
Opening Reception   April 4th                   6-8PM
April 3rd - April  11th
Serentity, a feel of Eastern Calm June 6th thru June 20th

This show is about using paint and space to find a quiet inner space. It's about dialog between the artist and nature. Seeking a path that fulfills both an artistic need and spiritual journey that connects harmoniously with something bigger than ourselves.

Ms. Albert's work which is rooted in the simple landscape. Finding a serene place where one is able to transcend the daily grind and find a place of beauty.

Shirley Albert's work is strongly influenced by the paintings of Chan Dei Chieng, Buddhist Philosophy, and  a passionate love of Nature. Her paintings possess an ephemeral and sometimes mystical quality, inspired by her sensitivity to the nuances of the environment and grounded in her command of the medium in which she works. While not traveling to discover, explore and paint new vistas, she resides in Baltimore, MD.
